Co-publisher Greg Michalson once again shares a personal glimpse of the undeniable beauty and unseen story that this photo brings. “Hard-to-Read” is the red mare on the left and “Dillon” is the darker young colt that we have all followed since birth. This picture, taken only a few days ago, shows the horses enjoying the first snow of the season.
In an article entitled Los Angeles filmmaker scouts North Shore, the Duluth News Tribune reports that filmmakers from a Los Angeles production company will use the North Shore as the backdrop for the movie adaptation of Peter Geye’s award-winning novel, Safe from the Sea.
