THE LIGHTHOUSE ROAD “Riveting from Beginning to End”

A NewPages.com review of The Lighthouse Road, written by Peter Geye and published by Unbrided Books in October 2012, credits Geye with doing a wonderful job of reconstructing the historical era. The reviewer, Oliver Mullet, also calls the book “riveting from beginning to end.”
NewPages is the Portal of Independents! News, information and guides to literary magazines, independent publishers, creative writing programs, independent bookstores, alternative periodicals, independent record labels, alternative newsweeklies and more.
The Lighthouse Road is a generational immigrant saga of logging camps, desperate winters, whiskey smuggling, heartache, boat building and dangerous love set in the harsh climates near Duluth in the 1890s and ranging to the 1920s. Peter Geye also authored Safe from the Sea, an Unbridled Books bestseller. The Lighthouse Road will be coming to paperback in June, 2013.
