HICK Now Available on NetFlix

Hick, the novel by Andrea Portes, published by Unbridled Books in May 2007, and subsequently made into a 2011 movie, is now available on NetFlix for download.
Hick is the story of a teenage girl from Nebraska who gets more than she bargained for when she sets out for the bright lights of Las Vegas.
The movie stars Chloe Moretz as Luli McMullen, the main character, as well as Alec Baldwin, Eddie Redmayne, Rory Culkin, and Blake Lively.
Andrea Portes grew up in rural Nebraska, later shuffling between Illinois, Texas, Brazil, North Dakota and North Carolina before attending Bryn Mawr College. She received her MFA from UC San Diego and became a script reader for Paramount Pictures. She now lives in Los Angeles and is a nightlife columnist for several websites. Hick is her first novel.
