CottageCountryNow.ca, a Canadian based website that supports the:Almaguin News, Bracebridge Examiner, Gravenhurst Banner, Huntsville Forester, Muskoka Sun, The Muskokan, Parry Sound Beacon Star and Parry Sound North Star, calls The Lighthouse Road, “completely captivating”.. The review, written by Charlotte Stein and posted on the webiste on January 16th, makes mention of author Peter Geye’s first novel, Safe from the Sea. The article begins as follows:
If you have not heard of the American author Peter Geye you are not alone. His books, Safe from the Sea published a couple of years ago, and The Lighthouse Road published late in 2012, were both published by a small American press. It is the very rare book that finds a wide public audience without the resources of a large publisher to promote the book, to tour the author, and to advertise widely.
