Unbridled Books Signs Emily St. John Mandel for Third Book Together
For Immediate Release
(Denver, CO July 18, 2011) Unbridled Books is pleased to announce they have renewed their partnership with Emily St. John Mandel and will publish her third novel in Spring 2012.
Mandel, award-winning author of literary novels with a criminal element, including the #1 Indie Next Pick Last Night in Montreal and The Singer’s Gun , “is a terrific writer, that rare real thing” with a talent that, Sarah Weinman in the Los Angeles Times, calls “clearly visible from the get-go. . . . “
“Emily is an integral part of the Unbridled Books family and we are thrilled to be publishing her third novel.” Greg Michalson, editor and co-publisher, said of Mandel, recent winner of the Indie Bookseller Choice Award.
More good news for the internationally appealing Mandel arrived when, late last week, Canadian rights to her third novel were sold to McArthur and Company, and the French translation rights to both of her titles were sold to Francois Guerif at Payot/Rivages who expects to launch Last Night in Montreal as their lead title for the 2012 “Rentree litteraire.”
